Can I use the photos on Instagram, my website, etc..?
My goal is to deliver photos you’ll be excited to share across your social media! I just ask that you credit the photos to Khoi Ly and include links to my Instagram, website, etc.
What’s included in my license?
My standard license never expires and covers use across your business platforms—including social media, your website, digital displays, contest entries, brochures, local magazines, billboards, prints, and more.
What’s not included in my license?
For any use beyond what’s listed—like promoting your business in a national or international magazine—an additional license may be required.
Who owns the rights to the photos after a shoot?
As the creator of these images, I retain full copyright—this is standard practice in my field. To see how you can use the photos you’ve selected, check out What’s included in my license? on this page.
Think of it like music streaming: when you buy a song on Apple Music or Spotify, you don’t own the song itself—you own a license to play it on your personal devices anytime.
Can I share the photos with other parties ?
Third-party usage is not included in your license rights. If a third party wants to use the final photos, they must obtain a separate license from me. I recommend they arrange this before the shoot, as it allows them to share in the total cost and receive a discount on the final price.
Do you travel for shoots?
I love to travel! Any travel expenses will be estimated and included in your project quote once we go over the details of your photoshoot.
